American Express

The American Express Foundation supports Junior Achievement’s mission through its investment JA programming that advances financial literacy education for students in grades K–12, with a strong emphasis on engaging American Express employees as volunteers. This grant enables JA to deliver high‑impact, hands‑on learning experiences - such as immersive capstone programs and classroom‑based financial literacy curricula - at no cost to schools or students. With guidance from trained volunteers, students build practical financial confidence by exploring real‑world concepts related to income, budgeting, saving, credit, and decision‑making. Together, American Express Foundation and Junior Achievement are helping prepare hundreds of young people, particularly those from underserved communities, to make informed financial choices and navigate their futures with confidence.

Junior Achievement USA gratefully acknowledges American Express for its dedication to JA Areas with funds to support financial literacy lessons for young achievers.
