In 2018 I was actively volunteering, interning, networking, and just trying to gain experience in the sector. I had a lunch meeting with a few individuals at Kauffman and the question came up "What are you passionate about?" I recall having little hesitation when I said "At risk youth and financial literacy." Jacqueline was across from me and smiled before saying "I think I know an organization that would be a good fit, I don't know if they have any openings but you should keep them on your radar." That organization she was referring to is JA!
