On October 13th, JA of New York and 25 ALPFA volunteers came together to spread financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship to 273 middle school students.
Reflecting on JA in a Day, a volunteer stated, "The materials were clear and fun. Our class was so engaged and had a lot of fun. I really found the experience rewarding and I'm happy we could give the kids a fun day."
Junior Achievement would not have been able to make as big of an impact without the men and women who volunteered to teach JA in a Day. We would like to say thank you to all of them that gave their time and energy to teaching these young people.
Thank you to all those who were involved in the success of Ja of New York's JA in a Day event.
