At the National JA Titan Challenge, top student teams from around the country will compete as business CEOs in the phone industry, experiencing firsthand how an organization evaluates alternatives, makes decisions, analyzes the outcomes of those decisions, and then strategizes what to do next. Each team must make financial decisions about production, marketing, research and development (R&D), and corporate social responsibility (CSR) to drive their company's success or failure. Student teams will showcase their business knowledge and entrepreneurial savvy in a competitive environment. There will be two rounds of play, with each round of play more complex and challenging than the previous round. The top 25 teams will compete as finalists at Future Bound.
Winners of the JA Titan Challenge will be determined by highest number of total victory currencies at the end of competition play. First, second, and third place honors will be awarded. Participants will also have the opportunity to compete for other prestigious awards at Future Bound. Details on these awards will be provided to finalists in mid-May.
In addition to the competition, students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops led by national experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and business.
